Thank you for all of the wonderful work you did with our Department, especially with the residents. The leadership training is now a mandate from the ACGME as part of the 6 core competencies, so we were a bit ahead of the mandate. The training has had a significant impact on the professionalism of the residents' behavior. We are now starting to publish our work, which is essential in academics to gain recognition for the work. I am delighted you are part of the publications.

Barbara is an active member of the Baylor College of Medicine Partnership. The Partnership was created in 2000 when Baylor Ten and The Guild joined forces to become the primary support group for Baylor College of Medicine. Partnership members serve as advocates for Baylor College of Medicine to inform individuals, foundations, and corporations of the educational, research, and service programs carried out by the College and its faculty. The group also assists Baylor College of Medicine in its efforts to attract philanthropic support for priority projects established by the College administration.
